Clermont SWCD offers free programming to any school, library, scout troop, camp, and other youth organizations located within Clermont County. Our programs prioritize experiential, inquiry-based learning that focus on conservation issues found here in Clermont. We work hard to keep our programs aligned with the most up to date science, math, and social studies standards.
We offer three main types of programs: loaner trunks that include several activities related to a topic, classroom programs for grades 6-12, and field experiences for all ages. Please take a moment to review our School Programs page for an overview of the programs we have to offer. If you are interested in a program that you do not see listed here, let us know and we would be happy to work with you to develop a program that meets your educational needs.
During the height of COVID-19 shut down, we worked with regional District educators to develop virtual programs and resources to best support your teaching needs. While this website is not currently being updated with new content, please check out our existing programs and feel free to use them as you see fit in your classroom.
