H2Ohio Program Available to Clermont County

Clermont SWCD is excited to help bring the Ohio Department of Agriculture’s H2Ohio program to Clermont County Producers!

The purpose of this program is to reduce nutrient runoff from farmland by incentivizing the implementation of science-based best management practices on the land.

For phase 1 of the Statewide H2Ohio rollout we will be incentivizing a $10/acre payment for the development of a 2 year nutrient management plan. In following years an additional implementation incentive payment will be available ($10/acre for basic implementation and $15/acre for precision/VRT implementation).

Eligible Land:
– In row crop production
– Not currently enrolled in other local, state or federal Nutrient Management Plan cost-sharing or incentive programs.
– <500 ac. Enrollment for Clermont County
– Will need a soil test from 2021 or later no later than Spring 2024
