Living along water can be very enjoyable, but also bring its share of challenges, such as eroding stream banks which in turn can cause loss of land and structures. To help landowners address these issues, Clermont SWCD has recently published a Streambank Maintenance Guide. The purpose of this guide is to give tips on how to prevent stream bank erosion from occurring, and steps that can be taken to correct erosion problems once they occur.
