Joe is a member of the Felicity Franklin Local School District School Board, Clermont County Farm Bureau Board President. He is also a member of the Felicity gourd festival committee and the Felicity Franklin FFA alumni chapter. He is the recipient of a honorary Felicity-Franklin FFA Chapter degree and a Honorary Ohio FFA state degree. 

Joe currently works for Clermont County Transportation Connection as a bus operator. Prior to this, he was the Fleet manager, Transportation Supervisor, and a school bus driver at Felicity Franklin Local school district.

Joe and his wife, Amy, have two adult children Joey and Addy, and a granddaughter Rubie, who is the third generation to grow up on the family farm in Franklin Township. 

By being elected to the Clermont County Soil and Water Board, Joe hopes to make meaningful contributions to the maintenance and improvement of soil and water quality on local, state, national levels.  He wants his grandchildren’s grandchildren to have clean water to drink and clean soil to farm, live and recreate. 

Outside of work and family, Joe likes to attend tractor shows, tractor shows, county fairs and festivals.

Tim is a lifetime resident of Clermont County and the third generation Rose to operate Ohio Pike Farms in Bethel. Together, Tim and his father farm nearly 1,000 acres of corn and soybeans rotating crops annually and practicing no-till planting. With the recent addition of grass filter strips through multiple fields, Tim continues to practice conservation on the farm.

In 2020, Tim was elected to the Clermont SWCD Board of Supervisors and currently serves as the Board’s Vice-Chair. Recently, Tim has led an effort to obtain funding for grain bin rescue equipment. He is now seeking his second term.

Tim is a young farmer with big plans for caring for his land and positively impacting the community he lives in. Tim has dedicated his life to the farm and plans to pass his knowledge of agriculture and the industry onto his children as they grow.

Matt has dedicated more than 25 years to engineering, surveying, and water resource management throughout Southwest Ohio. He currently serves as Principal Engineer with Greater Cincinnati Water Works. Matt is also the owner and operator of Smith Engineering & Surveying, LLC.

A lifelong resident of Clermont County, Matt has served in both the public and private sectors with Greater Cincinnati Water Works, the Metropolitan Sewer District, Clermont County Water Resources, and several consulting firms. His experience includes stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, floodplain management, watershed planning, and responsible land development. Matt has also served on three other various Boards, including 6 years as Vice-Chair. Through these roles, he has worked with property owners, developers, engineers, and public agencies to balance responsible growth with the protection of Clermont County's natural resources.

Throughout his career, Matt has recognized that conservation and responsible development are complementary goals. He believes thoughtful engineering, sound planning, and stewardship of natural resources are essential to preserving Clermont County's soil and water resources while accommodating sustainable growth. He hopes to use his experience to help guide the mission of the Clermont Soil & Water and continue serving the community he has called home his entire life.
